Sabangan, Mountain Province

THE MUNICIPALITY OF SABANGAN. Historical accounts show that what is now the present municipality was a part of the municipal district of the sub-province of Bontoc under the old Mountain Province. It had a recorded population of forty nine (49) as of 1903. Sabangan became a regular municipality on 25 July 1963 by virtue of Presidential Executive Order No. 42.
